Convert PDF to PowerPoint slides that look exactly right

This PDF to PowerPoint converter turns each page of a PDF into its own slide. It's the quickest way to present a report, a handout or a client's PDF in a meeting, to add speaker notes to slides you only have as a PDF, or to slot a few pages into an existing deck.

Every page is rendered at the resolution you choose and placed on a slide without stretching, so fonts, charts and layouts look exactly as they did in the PDF. You can then add your own titles, arrows, notes and transitions in PowerPoint.

Images and chartsKept, as part of the page picture
LinksNot clickable; add hyperlinks in PowerPoint if needed
Speaker notesEmpty, ready for your own notes

Slide size options

Widescreen (16:9)

The PowerPoint default since 2013 and the shape of almost every laptop and TV. A portrait A4 page placed on a 16:9 slide sits in the middle with empty space on the sides, which is fine for reading but leaves room for your own notes or a logo.

Standard (4:3)

The older, squarer format. It's a better fit for portrait documents and for projectors in some classrooms and meeting rooms.

Match PDF

The slide takes the exact proportions of the first page, so the page fills the slide edge to edge. Pick this for posters, landscape reports and PDFs exported from other slide software.

Ideas for using a converted deck

  • Present a report in a meeting without switching between a PDF viewer and slides.
  • Teach from a handout or worksheet, drawing on the slides with PowerPoint's pen tools.
  • Rebuild an old presentation that only survives as a PDF. Use the slides as a background and add fresh text where you need to change things.
  • Pull a few pages into another deck by converting just that page range and copying the slides across.

Limits and privacy

You can convert PDFs up to 250 MB and 50 pages at a time. Password-protected files need the password removed first. Higher DPI makes bigger PPTX files; 150 DPI is a sensible default for screens.

The conversion runs entirely in your browser, with no upload and no account. Need images instead of slides? PDF to Image saves each page as PNG or JPEG.
