1. Acceptance

By accessing or using ImgTask (imgtask.com), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use ImgTask on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. What ImgTask provides

ImgTask provides free online tools for common image and PDF tasks such as compressing, resizing, converting, blurring, merging, and related utilities. Tools generally do not require an account. Image tools run in your browser; PDF processing still runs on our servers.

ImgTask is a utility website, not a design suite, cloud storage product, or professional archival service. Features, limits, and available formats may change as we improve the site.

3. Permitted use

You may use ImgTask for lawful personal and professional file tasks, subject to these terms and the limits shown on each tool page.

You may not use ImgTask to:

• process content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
• upload malware, attempt to disrupt the service, or probe systems without authorization
• abuse rate limits, automate heavy bulk processing in a way that degrades the service for others, or bypass technical restrictions
• misrepresent your identity when contacting us, or use the contact channels for spam
• scrape the site in a way that burdens infrastructure or copies substantial content without permission

4. File responsibility

You are solely responsible for the files you upload. Only upload files you own or have permission to use. ImgTask does not claim ownership of your files and does not routinely review their content.

PDF files processed on our servers are discarded promptly after you download them; leftovers are removed by automated cleanup on a short schedule. Because retention is short, we generally cannot restore files after deletion. Keep originals of anything important.

5. Upload limits and results

Tools enforce size and format limits. For example, image uploads are commonly capped around 200 MB, and PDF uploads around 100 MB. Limits may change as the service evolves and are described more specifically on each tool page.

Processing quality, speed, and output characteristics can vary by file type, content, settings, and server load. Conversion between formats can change quality, color, transparency, metadata, or file size. We do not guarantee that every file will meet a specific visual or size target.

6. Service availability

ImgTask is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep the site reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free processing, or permanent availability of any particular tool. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features without notice when needed for maintenance, security, capacity, or product changes.

7. Advertising and free access

ImgTask tools are free to use. To help cover hosting and maintenance costs, the site may display advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense or other partners. Ads are separate from your uploaded file contents. Using a tool does not require payment for a download or creation of an account.

Advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The ImgTask name, logo, website design, text, and software that make up the service are owned by ImgTask or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape for republication, reverse engineer, or exploit the site beyond ordinary personal or professional use of the tools, except as allowed by law.

You retain whatever rights you already have in files you upload. By uploading a file, you grant ImgTask a limited, temporary license to process, store, and transmit that file solely to provide the requested tool output and operate the service.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ImgTask disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that outputs will be accurate, complete, secure, or error-free, or that the service will meet your specific requirements.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ImgTask and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of files, profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service, including delayed processing, unexpected output quality, downtime, or third-party advertising behavior.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent allowed by applicable law. Keep originals of important files and verify results before relying on them for critical work.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify ImgTask and its operators against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your uploaded content, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of ImgTask after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
